IUCA MISSION

The International University of Central Asia is based on the American model of higher education, which develops bright, well-educated leaders in today's democratic society.

The founding principles of the university are academic integrity and academic freedom. The university has established itself as a promoter of intellectual freedom and a safe, corruption-free environment.

The mission of the University is to develop globally minded, responsible leaders committed to integrity, able to integrate their personal and professional skills to serve the community.

Academic Freedom and Academic Integrity Policies

The principles of academic freedom and integrity allow us to achieve a higher quality of education. We strive not to violate the principles of equality and fairness, we do not discriminate against employees and students because of social or ethnic status.

We attract the best professors in the country (former Minister of Education, former Judge of the Constitutional Court, former Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, former Advisor to the Prime Minister), the best foreign professors from the US, India, UK, Taiwan, China and Canada.

Contributions to Regional Development

In the 2019 Year of Regional Development and Digitalization announced by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, we are launching a significant investment project to build a new campus in Tokmok, which will be one of the best regional projects in the country and create new jobs. We are reaching out to the region's population, primarily ethnic minorities in Tokmok and the Chui region.

A person-centered approach to learning

IUCA is the only higher education institution in the country to launch a regular study of the cognitive and personal characteristics, ethical and intellectual development of each student. The study uses valid and reliable instruments developed at leading U.S. universities.

Ongoing work to improve infrastructure

In 2018, 13 well-appointed apartments in the center of Tokmok city were purchased, repairs were made. In 2019, land was leased and the foundation for the construction of a new campus was laid.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

There is a linear-functional management structure. The university administration provides interaction with state and local government, international organizations, the founders and the Board of Trustees, the alumni association; carries out strategic planning of the university development; conducts analysis of all activities, including financial auditing.
