The day was filled with activities celebrating the French language and culture:

1️⃣ Conference at IFEAC (@ifeac.institut) Topic: “Transition to Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions: The Case of Kyrgyzstan and France” (speaker: Irène Mestre). Students also visited the Alliance Française, where they learned about opportunities to study in French-speaking universities and attended a lecture on French dialects.

2️⃣ French Carnival at ISU. Our students Nazika Kalmurzaeva and Zhakshylyk Nogoybaev performed on stage and received an Honorary Certificate from the Embassy of France, presented by Nicolas Fay, for their outstanding performance.

3️⃣ Lecture on the Louvre. Held at the National Historical Museum, this inspiring session by art historian Gordana Faj highlighted the treasures of French art and culture.

4️⃣ Evening at the French Café “La Maison du Voyageur”. The hosts shared the café’s story and offered a glimpse into the most beautiful places to visit in France.

5️⃣ Musical Evening “Bishkek Montmartre”. The day concluded with a themed evening of French music that recreated the true spirit of France.
