Student Conference: "My Linguist. Pronunciation Problems in English"
On December 13, 2024, IUCA hosted a student scientific and practical conference focused on linguistics and English pronunciation. Participants presented reports in English, exploring linguistic studies, cultural insights, and teaching methodologies.

On December 13, 2024, the International University of Central Asia (IUCA) hosted a student scientific and practical conference titled "My Linguist. Pronunciation Problems in English," organized by the "English Linguistics" program. The event brought together IUCA students and professors.

The conference had two primary goals.The first was to familiarize students with the lives and discoveries of prominent linguists whose work intersects with philosophy, history, culture, ethnography, psychology, and other fields. Participants presented reports on the development of linguistic studies in Russia, Europe, the USA, Britain, and Kyrgyzstan.The second goal was to discuss key linguistic traditions and pronunciation challenges in English. The discussion addressed issues commonly encountered by both learners and teachers of the language.

The working language of the conference was English, and the student presentations were noted for their depth and academic rigor. Professors praised the participants for their excellent preparation and ability to articulate complex topics clearly.

The discussions concluded with a recommendation to continue exploring the theoretical and practical aspects of linguistics, which shed light on the cultural, psychological, and communicative features of the English language.

The conference concluded with certificates awarded to all participants.
