Student Workshop: U.S. Study Abroad Opportunities
On November 1, 2024, Monica Zhang, a Fulbright Scholar and faculty member of the "English Linguistics" program at IUCA, conducted a workshop for students. Participants learned how to craft winning essays for U.S. government-funded programs and received valuable TOEFL tips.

On November 1, 2024, the International University of Central Asia (IUCA) hosted a workshop titled "U.S. Study Abroad Opportunities," led by Monica Zhang, a Fulbright Scholar and faculty member of the "English Linguistics" program.

The workshop targeted students aiming to apply for U.S. government-funded programs, such as UGRAD. During the session, Monica provided insights on how to write an impactful personal statement that stands out to admissions committees and shared practical tips for excelling on the TOEFL test.

The workshop was held in a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, and participants noted that the knowledge gained would significantly enhance their chances of success in future applications.
