International University in Central Asia, the “Information Technologies” program expands the possibilities of international cooperation.
On April 22, 2021, a video conference was held with the Institute of Information Technologies of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. It was attended by representatives of the administration of universities, as well as faculty of the “Information technology” program.
Aigul Kalchakeeva, IUCA Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Strategic Planning, and Alexei Okhrimenko, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies of BSUIR, made welcoming remarks.
Both sides noted that new challenges that have occurred in the information space and society have opened up opportunities for remote interaction and partnership between universities.
Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Studies and Retraining Andrey Govin introduced the participants to the educational programs that are being implemented at the IT Institute.
Also very informative and useful was the speech of the head of the center for the development of distance education of BSUIR, Evgeny Shneiderov, who spoke about the use of electronic technologies in the educational process of BSUIR.
It should be noted that since this year, the IUCA Information Technology program has begun successful cooperation with the Institute of Information Technologies of the BSUIR in terms of providing educational services and training students in the IT direction in promising technologies for developing software applications.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their desire for promising cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
